February 20th-21st, 2009 – Dr. Carl Greer created and held a palpable energy and sacred space in which to share the gifts from a Shamanic tradition and how they might relate to a Jungian world view.

January 23rd, 2009 – Our annual Friends Meeting gave Members an opportunity to participate in the direction of the Society. Warmth from the fire as well as from the hearts of the attendees gave energy and new ideas to the board. We are grateful to those who attended and contributed. Even though you may not have attended, we are still interested in what you’d like to see from the Society. You are welcome to email us with feedback and suggestions!
November 15th, 2008 – Mary Barron gave an intriguing look into two artists work and the connection to symbol, metaphor and alchemy. What beautiful, rich and colorful images for such a dreary day. Thank you Mary!
October 24th-25th, 2008 – Pat Berry gave a lecture on “The Hole in the Heart” in regard to relationships and why they fail. Many excellent examples from early literature were used to great effect, as well as examples from the movie “Mr. and Mrs. Smith” (quite humorous at times due to how well we can all identify with various stages of relationship in this film!). She also gave a wonderful workshop the following day on Fairy Tales. Hansel and Gretel was studied closely among others. Amazing how much information can be tapped into when amplifying these tales. Thank you Dr. Berry!
September 19th, 2008 – Rose Holt’s “An Evening with Carl Jung” was a comprehensive yet concise look at Jung’s major concepts through a PowerPoint presentation, lecture and discussion. The relaxed setting and open forum gave many a unique opportunity to get answers to any questions on Jung’s key ideas. Rose eloquently distilled these complex ideas into clear thoughts for a curious and attentive audience. Excellent job Rose!
July 18th-19th – With gentle voice but thunderous ideas, Dr. Lionel Corbett gave us a weekend that has us contemplating some very big plans!
June 28th – Many board members attended a retreat at Toddhall Retreat and Conference Center. This overnight event was time for us to leisurely reflect, contemplate and look forward on ideas, inspiration and direction of the Society.
April 25th-26th, 2008 – Jenny Yates‘ events were warm, related and intelligent. Her depth and breath of knowledge on the topic, and her ability to tap into that upon making her points as well as answering questions, made these events a joy to attend. Many participants have already requested that we have her back again!
February 8-9th, 2008 – We were proud and honored to have Jean Shinoda Bolen!
A quote from Dr. Bolen (from her Introduction to the 25th Anniversary edition of The Tao of Psychology: Synchronicity and the Self) which expresses the energy our Society has been experiencing:
“When kindred spirits work together for a common good, it can feel as if there is an upwelling of energy available, like a big wave is forming under the surface that can carry us and our cause further. Right timing and connections help move what we are doing along… it feels as if the Tao or the universe supports what we are doing.”
