March 4 – 5, 2011 – Elizabeth Fergus-Jean speaking from personal experience Friday evening explained how images talk to those who cross the threshold separating the ordinary and the awe-filled numinous, and how through practice and commitment such experiences can be artistically shaped and shared in an authentic voice. In Saturday’s workshop, attendees were taught to see, really see, both artistic and cultural images via their minds, bodies and souls, and to construct surprising and instructive self-images through collage.
