Description

Eight-year-old Maria wants a black pony more than anything in the world. She excitedly hopes that her upcoming birthday is the day her dream will come true. Although her parents can’t afford a black pony, a local petting zoo is going out of business and has offered them a free zebra named Ace. When her parents bring Ace home and present him to Maria for her birthday, she is terribly disappointed…

C.G. Jung Society of St. Louis Vice-President Dr. Francesca Ferrentelli wrote this story specifically to be used with Transformational Storytelling, a therapeutic method of storytelling she uses in her practice. Come to this Zoom event to experience The Zebra and the Black Pony as it was created to be!

Another part of this Friends’ evening will feature small break-out groups in which we will interact with and get to know other Friends as we discuss topics including:

  • The areas of Jungian studies that interest you most
  • How, if at all, Jungian psychology has aided you during the pandemic
  • How Jungian thinking has influenced your life and the ways you can imagine it benefitting our world today

Last, but not least, the following PRIZES will be awarded from a drawing!

  • A one-year Friend’s Subscription
  • A lecture or workshop of your choice in 2021
  • A copy of The Zebra and the Black Pony
  • Volume 2 of Visions: Notes on the Seminars from 1930-1934 by C.G. Jung and Claire Douglas
