Saturday, April 13, 2013 artist Kathleen Barnes led participants through a meditative art process called “Drawing the Light Within.” She began with a guided meditation, then with us using white colored pencils on black paper, she had us focus on shades from dark to light. We were able to tap into conscious and unconscious material. Although some participants were already comfortable producing artwork, others were amazed at what they were able to draw.
