Jan Bauer on Money
April 16th – 17th, 2010 – Jan Bauer gave an insightful lecture Friday night on the mysteries of money in our lives. Her experience of living in Montreal, Quebec lent an interesting contrast to American perceptions of money; how it is perceived, used and psychologically processed. Lively discussion was fueled by attendees, curious in both individual and collective aspects of the ideas she presented so clearly. Saturday, in an intense day-long workshop, she challenged the participants with a series of intriguing exercises. The Legacies of Freud and Jung
February 19th – 20th, 2010 – Joseph Callahan, M.D., Cheryl Lawler, M.S.W., L.C.S.W., Lenita Newberg, M.S.W. Sheldon Culver, M. Div., Rose Holt, M.A. presented on “The Legacies of Freud and Jung”. Our presentations this weekend inaugurated an exciting St. Louis dialogue between the Jungians and the Freudians. A large audience enjoyed comparative psychoanalytic (post-Freudian) and analytic psychology (post-Jungian) reviews of the movie “The Soloist”, looking at relationship, projection, and dynamics of the unconscious as they revealed themselves in the two main characters. …
2010 Friend’s Meeting
January 22nd, 2010 – Our annual Friend’s Meeting brought warmth and camaraderie on an otherwise cold winter night. Rose Holt led us through an introductory lesson, and a casting of the I Ching which brought us to contemplate the direction of our Society. Good food, great conversation and fresh ideas were to be had. We are thankful to everyone who participated!

Jung in the Heartland: Portals to the Sacred
