September 18, 2011 – Cheryl Lawler and Rose Holt gave us a deeper understanding on how sacrifice is a theme in psychotherapy from both a Jungian and Freudian perspective. Though painful, the loss of an aspect of one’s life can open up new direction and return proper balance to the psyche. In examples cited, it was fascinating to hear how others near to someone going through transformation/loss/sacrifice often are changed for the better, themselves. Thank you, Cheryl and Rose, for a…

May 6 – 7, 2011 – Dr. Robert Moore brought his magnetic personality and brilliant concepts to the Friday evening lecture, delving into some of the mechanics on the connection of the ego-Self axis, or in his words, “system-self” connecting to the “archetypal Self”. In the Saturday workshop he expounded on the previous night, sharing multiple graphic representations on “Decoding the Diamond Within”. Amazing material. Thank you, Dr. Moore!
March 4 – 5, 2011 – Elizabeth Fergus-Jean speaking from personal experience Friday evening explained how images talk to those who cross the threshold separating the ordinary and the awe-filled numinous, and how through practice and commitment such experiences can be artistically shaped and shared in an authentic voice. In Saturday’s workshop, attendees were taught to see, really see, both artistic and cultural images via their minds, bodies and souls, and to construct surprising and instructive self-images through collage. Thank you, Elizabeth!
